Islam

Islam, which is today, one of the greatest religions of the world had its origin in Arabia in the seventh century. The doctrines of this faith were first proclaimed by Proclaimed by Prophet Muhammad under whose banner the scattered tribes of Arabia became a nation. Prophet Muhammad was born in A.D. 570 at Mecca in Arabia.
From the beginning, Muhammad was absorbed in religion. He would often withdraw and spend days and night at a cave near Mt. Hira close to Mecca. Here he meditated and prayed. One night, as he was alone in the cave the angle Gabriel appeared to him and proclaimed Muhammad to be the messenger of Allah. He bade Muhammad to spread his faith among the people of Arabia.
Muhammad accepted this as a true revelation from heaven and it encouraged him to now announce his mission. He openly announced himself as the prophet of Allah, ‘divinely commissioned to lead the Arab people to a new morality and a monotheistic faith’. Muhammad condemned the worship of many gods and idols, as was then prevalent amongst the Arab tribes. By doing so, he turned the Arabs and also his own tribesmen against himself. He was abused and stoned by them. Some Arabs got together to plan his murder. He took shelter in Medina. His flight to Medina with a group of followers on July 2, A.D. 622 is known as the Hijra and is regarded as the official beginning of the Mohammedan era.
In Medina, Muhammad preached his religion and won many flowers. Muhammad said, “Allah is most great” and founded his new faith Islam which means ‘to surrender’, ‘to make peace’. Its flowers came to be called Mussalmans or Muslims.
In A.D. 630, Muhammad proclaimed Mecca as the holy city of Islam. He continued preaching his new religion and won many converts. In A.D. 632 after a long illness, he passed away.
Muhammad left behind a religion simple and clear and strong which remains to this day a virile force through half the world.
Teachings of Muhammad:
The teachings of Muhammad are contained in the ‘Holy Quran’. Some of his teachings are as follows:
1. There is only one god- ‘Allah’ and Muhammad is his prophet.
2. Idol worship is a curse and should be abandoned.
3. All men are equal and there should be no distinction of any sort among the prophet’s followers. There should be no question of inferiority and superiority.
4. There will be a day of judgment when each one will be rewarded or punished according to one’s deeds.
5. A Muslim should pray on Friday at the mosque and observe the five appointed times of prayer or Namaz.
6. He should give charity to the poor.
7. He should fast during the month of Ramzan. This is regarded as one of the very pious duties of every Muslim.
8. Muslim should go to Mecca, once in a lifetime.
Muhammad was against the practice of drinking and gambling. He also vehemently condemned the taking of the flesh of pig.
He was in favor of treating the women and slaves kindly. Muhammad tried to improve the position of women in Arabia. He put an end to the practice of female infanticide and tried to place women on the same footing with man in legal processes. He put some restrictions on the movement of women. He believed that ‘their homes are better for them’ and that they should go out of their homes only when necessary. He also emphasized on the modesty of dress. Muhammad thought the mother to be worthy of much respect.
During Muhammad’s time, Islam spread to almost the whole of Arabia. But gradually it spread to the other parts of the world as well such as Western Asia, Africa, Europe, India, the Malay Archipelago, etc.

It Was Only A Dream

The annoying and disgusting alarm clock has never neglected its duty at half past six, meanwhile mingle with the clanking and sizzling sound from the kitchen, implying the coming of a very new day. Monday, distinctly showing on the calender yet another school day. After having my daily routine with two slides of toasts and a glass of milk, I jumped to my rickety bicycle which had a twisted gear set and grotesquely distorted handle. My heart was throbbing wirh joy since first light as the air was crisp, clean and the sky was blue, the green grass wet with the early morning dew, and with the caressing breeze.
Rather unfortunately, an evil demon descend as the school was being enshrounded in an atmosphere of unprecedented despair where every living creatures was engraved with knitted brows, however, there was a conpicious multicellular organism walking straight and upright on the corridor, that guy was obviously the top student who never fail to be the first. Every student was being in their own position, silently, as the clock was ticking by at seven thirty while waiting anxiously for a stack of paper. The notes of tune played ny the footstep was faded in and eventually the teacher which many anticipating for appeared in the classroom (of course with that stack of paper). Everyone was sheivering with the 'inner' cold as the tigeress teacher show her merci with the smile.
The exam result for these years were still presant vividly in my mind...... It was never brimmed sweet and unforgettable memories, but bitter one instead. I distinctly remember I was always the first (count from the back), and no one succeed in winning me since kindergarden, even once. Mements later, the punishment was swift, harsh and just, no body was going to majestically appear in the horizon and save me, and there is no way to avaid fram suffering the misery, sorrow, agony and excrutiating pain. This state of affairs continues and grew no better, accompany with my primary school and secondary school. Life was not easy, with rough and tumble stambling stones even hurdles by the discrimination and made me not happier, either.
Suddenly, waves after waves of applause swept across the classroom and penetrated, shaken my tought, everyone was smiling at me, wondering and envying how my result could improve so abruptly and dramatically, teacher do praise me. Perhaps the angle's wing were hovering over me and my solemn appeal to the God had been amused. My majestic, I belived from the bottom of my heart without any suspicious in your fairness to mankind! The everlasting grateful to my parents, teachers, students who give a hand in this access which connected to the paradise few could understand, with my tears smearing as the witness of my sincere.
"48 marks for english! Mom, I found the school report card in sister's school bag!" I was awaken by the high frequency shrieak of sister, and my frastrated mother was seen rushing towards me, with the rattan holding firmly in the hand and I understand what will be happen next...... Only to discover it was only a dream to be the top student, however, at least, once, I was the top stdent! In the dream......

My Dream

Dream is something that all of us need to have. It is our vision. Dream is what you want to do for your future. I believe that having a great dream, is a must to us. And I have a big dream. Next year, I will confront a big examination, SPM.  It is very necessary for us get a good result from this exam. This is our future.
My dream is to be great neurosurgeons. I know it is not simple at all. But I know I can achieve it. I feel like this is my destiny. This is why I came to this world.  I do not know when or how I am going to achieve this. But it will not be easy. I am constantly studying in school right now. I cannot give up even if I fail. There is a saying that failure is the greatest teacher. I know in order to pursue my dream, I will face failure. This cannot be stopped. Even Albert Einstein and Sir Isaacs Newton faced failure when they are trying to create a great formula that is remained to be used till today.
I got influence when I watched a drama titled ‘Brain’. It is a very great drama.  To me, brain is most powerful thing in this world. The human brain is the center of the human nervous system. It has the same general structure as the brains of other mammals, but is larger than expected on the basis of body size among other primates. It controls everything that we do.
Brain is a very interesting and unique thing to study about. I would like to perform a surgery on brain. It will be hard, but I am ready because I always am. I will make a lot of money. I will buy my parents a house and they can rest comfortably in the house without doing any difficult works. They had gone through a lot in order to raise me and my sisters. I can always make a research on how to make a good but affordable surgery. It is very crucial because nowadays, the surgery especially on brain is costly. Not all people can afford this.
There is not much brain surgery in conducted in Malaysia because there are not many specialists here. If someone need to undergone neurosurgery, they will fly overseas where the facilities is said to be more perfect. In 10 years from now, Malaysia will change to well develop country. So the facilities here will be more perfect.  More brain surgery can be conducted here.
Like I said before, it is very important to have a big dream. It is not wrong. Even if you cannot achieve if, just make it as your vision. Dream can help you to prepare to face this challenging world. What am I going through now is just the start. I just find the keys. I am still trying to open the door. When I finally did, I will not hesitate.

Love

Love is h beautiful feeling that express honesty, affection and at the same time friendship. It is the greatest gift we can ever hope to give or receive. It can turn frown into smiles and turn all the ugliness in the world into the most beautiful portrait we could ever have the pleasure to behold.
Honestly, it is hard for me to write about love. Love is something that you cannot express well with writing or words. But, I know, as a Muslim, w must give our loves to the most Merciful God and Muhammad b. Abdullah. Always let them be the number one for you whenever you are. Then give your loves to your families, friends and another man in this world.
Love is beyond any restriction and rules. Loving someone is trying to be the best person of his lives. But first, you must love yourself. You cannot love anyone if you do not love yourselves first. This world is the beautiful creation of the almighty and with love; we can fill the best of colours and making it more vibrant and lively.

My Bestfriend

In our lives, we come across many people. We see new faces every day. Many of them remain anonymous, some may be acquaintances and some become our friends. Friends come and go throughout our lives and each friendship is a unique relationship. Some friends are joy to be with while others may bore us.
For me, my best friend is my own cousin. Named Mastura, she is in the same age as me. Maybe because of that, we get closer easily compared to the others. We contact each other frequently. We were both exited if we met each other. We share the same hobbies. She is a tall girl, who stood at 1.67 meters. She really has a good sense of humour. Whenever I am with her, I will always laugh my head off.
She lives with her family in Kuching, Sarawak. Being the eldest in her family, she had the responsibility of looking after her other two younger brother and another two younger sisters.
Mastura is simple and had always lived up o her motto ‘Simple in virtue and steadfast in duty’. She always attire in baggy jeans and oversized t-shirt. She is very compassionate, always willing to lend a helping hand or give a sympathetic ear to other people’s problems. That is why, aside from my mother, I always share my problems with her.
‘No man is an island’. We all need friends. A man without friends is a lonely man. We need friends whom we can confide in and share our problems with. So, we should never ever take our friends for granted. Without friends, our lives would be boring.

My Hobby

We all do some kind of a work either to earn our live hood or to make a career. Hobby is something which we enjoy doing, we like indulging ourselves in the activity during our leisure or free time. We all have our likes and dislike. We enjoy doing something more than others. A hobby gives us pleasure for we do it, for the love of the work and not under compulsion to earn. Thus, it is more fulfilling and gives us more satisfaction and joy.
Pursuing a hobby also increase one’s efficiency, interest and ability. It gives an opportunity to full development of one’s various aspects of personality. Hobbies like collecting stamps, listening music, drawing, gardening, playing an indoor or outdoor sport, writing, reading, bird watching, collecting antiques, photography etc, are very educative. We learn many things with practical insights which we cannot learn from.
One of the favourite things that 1 enjoy doing is gardening. I like the joy of beholding a blooming garden, a green lawn and greener plants at home. Therefore, it has become my hobby now.
I caught this habit of nurturing plants from my mother. Now with her help and my renewed interest we have managed to maintain a small garden in front of our porch. It has a green carpet of velvet grass and a small trimmed hedge growing around it.
We have also prepared flowerbeds in which we have planted a few rose bushes, lilies, sunflowers, mogra, China rose and colourful variety of seasonal flowers. We also have grown gladioli, orchids, chrysanthemums, germaniums, jasmines, ferns and crotons. Recently, bought Christmas tree.
Everyday after 1 return from my school and have my lunch, 1 rush to the garden to do a little digging and watering the plants. We also regularly add manure and other medicines for protection and better flowering. During autumn one has to clean the garden daily because of the number of dry leaves shed. Otherwise, I clean it only twice a week. Grass grows very quickly during the rainy seasons, so one has to mow it regularly.
Moreover, every day before going to school, I check the kind of flowers blooming and the number of buds ready to bloom. On birthdays and anniversaries, I sometimes make a bouquet from my garden as a present.
Now I am thinking to grow vegetables also in one corner of the garden. If I succeed, then we won’t have to buy vegetables and we can even distribute it among our neighbours and friends. At least the common ones can be grown which occupay less space and are eaten every other day.
Gardening is a good hobby. I really enjoy it. When others appreciate and admire our garden I feel very proud of my efforts. It is a great joy to behold the small garden in full bloom. It is not so expensive also and increases the beauty of my home. Gardening also keeps me fit and healthy. I really enjoy gardening.

The Importance of Friendship

Friendship is a relationship that all the individuals can create by themselves. Though it is not a god gifted relationship like that of the relationship of a mother, father, sister, brother or any of the other family but still it is one of the best relations an individual can possess. People who have true friends consider themselves as the luckiest individuals on earth.

“Friendship is unnecessary, like philosophy, like art… It has no survival value; rather it is one of those things that give value to survival.” – C.S. Lewis.

We do not make friends because they are useful but the bond of friendship, once it grows stronger and stronger has a number of positive aspects. There are certain secrets that can only be shared with our friends only. When we are facing a difficult situation in our lives, only true friends come forward to help us overcome all the difficulties.
Every friend is important and their importance in known to us when certain situations arise which can only be solved by our friends. One can never feel lonely in this world if he or she is surrounded by true friends. On the other hand, loneliness prevails in the lives of those who do not have friends despite of billions and billions of people present in the world. It has been truly said that “A friend in need is a friend indeed.”
Friendship is a beautiful bond by all means but while making friends, it is essential to keep in mind that one should always be aware so as to differentiate between true friends and false friends.

True friends are committed and stand by your side even in the rough phases of your life. False friends on the other hand are truly examined only when difficulties knock your door. Most of them show you their back and join hands with either your enemies or with other successful people. One should always try to maintain a distance from false friends. False friends are those who support you in times when you are rich and famous. As soon as fame and riches leave you alone, false friends also act as if they do not know you; you become stranger in their eyes. It has been said that only a difficult situation in life can make individuals realize who their true friends are and who their false friends are. It is always advisable to stay away from such individuals in order to maintain your peace of mind.
It is extremely essential to be capable of making proper choices in life especially when we are interested in choosing the group of friends we want to support and be with for the rest of our lives. Choosing proper friends is a bit difficult task but not impossible. We should have a group of friends who are disciplined and punctual individuals. This is essential because of the reason that we start becoming like the people we hang out with most. If for example one or two of our close friends are involved in bad habits such as smoking, drinking and taking drugs, sooner or later we will follow suit. This is the reason why it is advisable to make a proper choice when it comes to making friends. True friendship is as a matter of fact a blessing enjoyed by a few. Those who have it should thank God for having true gems in their lives and those who do not have a few good friends should constantly strive for new ways to secure good friends. No company is better than having a friend by your side in times of need. You will remain happy in your one room apartment if you are surrounded by your friends; on the other hand, you cannot find happiness even in your mansion if you are alone.
There are times when your family fails to solve all the problems of your life; you can easily get out of these problems of yours if you are in communication with a few friends.
People who are lucky enough have a group of amazing friends who support them in facing all the hardships and adversities of life. Having a single good friend helps an individual to overcome all the hurdles in his or her lifetime. On the other hand if an individual does not have a single good friend life automatically turns hard. Securing true friendship is extremely essential to become successful in all the areas of life. I pray that everyone everywhere is surrounded by at least one or two good friends throughout their life.

The following lines of a famous poem best describe friendship:
“Best friends stick together till the end,They are like a straight line that will not bend.
They trust each other forever,
No matter if your apart you are together.
They can be your hero and save the day,
They will never leave your side they are here to stay.
They help you up when you fall,
Your true friends are best of all.”

To sum up, it can be said that love, the most amazing feeling on Earth is incomplete if it is not supported by friendship.

Village Life

Village life is the happiest compromise between the natural and the artificial. It is a merry game between man and nature. Hence, village life is the most natural life for the human beings.

The village is panorama of the charming scenes of nature. The scenery of the changing seasons has a profound effect on the village life. It brings a divine touch into human mind. Hence, the village life is full of divine beauty.
Village life is plain and simple. Villagers are content with the necessities of life. They have no liking for luxury. They manage with a few pieces of clothes. They prefer the plain food. They discharge their social duties in the simplest manner possible.
Villagers are mostly field-workers. They take to farming. Some of them are artisans. All of them follow the trade of their respective castes. They take to different callings of life. Some are priests, some are milkmen, some are oilmen, some are fishermen, some are washermen, some are barbers, some are drummers and so on. They are not rich and wealthy. But they have enough for their minimum requirements of life.
The village people take part in fairs and festivals. The celebrations are quite plain and simple. They attend the folk dance and the open air dramas. But the aged of them do not attend the functions. They are happy with their house and harvest.
The village people lead the life of plain living and high thinking. They think high, because they think in the terms of God and religon. The village temple maintains their social and moral upkeep. The village temple maintains their social and moral upkeep. The village deity is looked upon with awe and faith. Caste-customs are rigidly followed.

We know that village people have few wants in life. They are content with what is endowed by nature around them. So, they do not like to make any progress. Consequently, the village life has gone rusty. Evils of ignorance and blind faiths have crept in. Un-education and epidemics are rampant. Now, it is our duty to find out a remedy to this state of affairs. Mass education and public health are the primary conditions for the improvement of the village life.

It is said that country life is sweet. It is true no doubt. The greatest of the poets have sung the praise of it. Prophets, too have the greatest admiration for the village life. Great thinkers and philosophers have spent their invaluable lives in the countryside. Hence, village life is highly cherished, in all ages by every soulful man.

Hari Raya Festival

Hye/Assalam. Today I want to tell about myself when I get back to Hari Raya :)

Hari Raya Puasa will be celebrated by the Muslims after one month of fasting. Me and family as a Muslim, Hari Raya Puasa is a special day to celebrate after they have gone through fasting for a month from foods and drinks from Subuh until Maghrib. This festival will be celebrated for a month either. In Malaysia, we can see the Muslims early prepared for the becoming special day. They decorates their house, buying new clothes, and making many types of food and cookies for the special day. We can see that the shopping complex, groceries, and other shop will be crowded by the Muslims as they were preparing to celebrate Hari Raya Puasa. For me, Hari Raya Puasa is a common thing now because the enjoyment of this raya only feels when I was a little boy. I take Hari Raya Puasa as a small festive because for now, the important thing for me is to discover a lot of new thing including my study but it doesn’t mean that I'm forgetting or not celebrating this festival . We can only celebrate it as a normal festival.

The night before the special day arrived my family and I , as usual a lot of activities happen same as the other festival. I can see my parent and my grandmother will busy making delicious food, while the my little brother were enjoying themselve playing fire crackers with other family members. The house which is located far from the town especially, which is a village, will be decorated with what we called `pelita’ around the house. It has been found that such activities is a legacy. Pelita is made up from bamboo stick actually, but nowadays people had invented a new kind of pelita which is made from plastic that is safe to used.

Furthermore, I can see a lot of delicious, variety and mouth watering food when the festival arrived. For example, the main menu for Muslims is ketupat, lemang, and other food that will make someone have a big intention to eat. There are also delicious hand-made biscuits or cakes. We will be able to discovered all kinds of food when we go to other people or our family members house. During Raya, someone will be able to gain weight drastically due to the intake of lots of variety food. Trust me. Moreover, there must be an event that we called an open house that will be held by the Muslims. The event helps to strengthen the relationship between family members after not seeing each other for a long period of time and between Malaysians in order to achieve the 1 Malaysia that has been planned by our Prime Minister. I also can see people with different kind of races will be visiting their Muslims neighbours house to celebrate together the special day. I hope that Malaysian people can maintain that style.

Lastly, as I can see Muslims celebrate their festival that is Hari Raya with a lot of joy and colorful day, same goes with other festival. Every festival have their own speciality. I hope that from the coming years, Hari Raya Puasa will be celebrated more happening. Aminn.

13 Signs Your Crush Likes Someone Else

Mainly, I base my blogs on girls and girl products. However, I understand that guys, just like girls, are always in need of advice, especially when it comes to the dating life. This blog is mainly aimed at teenagers, however, this will work for adults as well…
So, girls (and guys), why should you waste your time on someone when they like someone else? We know, you may think he is Prince Charming or The Most Beautiful Girl Ever and you two are meant to be together, but if your crush likes someone else, then you may want to think twice about what you are doing as you do not need to deal with heartache over someone that is “just not that into you.”
Oh, did you just say that you do not know if he or she likes someone else?
Sign #13
When you are in school and you come across your crush walking in the hallway, what is he/she doing? Are they looking at another person past you? If he/she is looking at you, then this is a good sign. However, if they do not even notice you are in the world and is looking at someone else at that moment, then that is a bad sign.
Sign #12
Does your crush ever stare at you as you are in class? If he/she does not talk to you when they sit next to you in class and they talk to the other guy/girl next to them, then this is also another sign that they are not into you like you are into them.
Sign #11
Does your crush pay you any attention at all? When a crush does not pay attention to you, then this is definitely not a good sign. Especially if they are paying attention to someone else.
Sign #10
Does the crush talk about their girlfriend or boyfriend a lot? This is also a sign that they like someone else.
Sign #09
Does your crush know you like them, but still stays away from you with someone else? Again, this is no good.
Sign #08
Is he or she starting to put a lot of time into their outer appearance, but you can tell that it is for someone else. (on this one, you can just tell).
Sign #07
Do they hand out with the other person at all times of the day in school? This include class, lunch and before school.
Sign #06
Have you seen your crush with someone else in public and you know for a fact that the “someone else” was not a family member?
Sign #05
Have you asked your crush out, but they told you no? If so, then obviously, you should just move on and stop waiting around. If it happens in the future, then it happens.
Sign #04
When you are in public hanging out with your crush, are they constantly looking behind their back as if they are looking for someone else other than you?
Sign #03
Do they constantly avoid your calls, but does not avoid your friends calls?
Sign #02
Does he/she sound like they are hiding a secret when you are spending time together? This will include stuttering a lot when they normally would not.
Sign #01
Sometimes, you can just “feel” it when your crush likes someone else. Do you feel as if your crush likes someone? Well, you can pay attention to all of those signs above, but the one true way to really know if he/she likes someone else would simply be to ask them.
Alright, girls and guys, I just gave you thirteen signs to watch to know if your crush likes someone else. If you find that your crush does like some other person, then you should just move on.
However, if the two of you are dating, then you do need to make sure it is the fact that they like someone else and is not just something bothering them (not pertaining to you).
Also, when you hear rumors, you should know that school relationships are harsh as there are many that will try to break the two of you up. Do not go off of the deep end over those rumors until you have spoken to your crush about them (or in some cases, have let them get to know you better). It’s a tough world out there and you will go through some heartaches, so don’t let this get you down.
There will always be someone great out there waiting for you …
